El 3er Congreso Anual de Hidrógeno para América Latina y el Caribe (H2LAC 2023), la principal conferencia sobre hidrógeno de la región, llegará a Río de Janeiro, Brasil, del 13 al 15 de junio.
En 2022, realizamos H2LAC en persona por primera vez. La respuesta fue abrumadora. Más de 250 líderes de los sectores público y privado de 25 países se unieron a nosotros en Cartagena, Colombia, para lo que fue, por mucho, la reunión más grande del mercado regional de hidrógeno ese año.
Desde entonces, hemos visto un progreso indiscutible en América Latina y el Caribe. Hemos visto, en algunos países, políticas innovadoras para estimular el crecimiento del ecosistema del hidrógeno y, en otros casos, el diseño, financiación y ejecución de proyectos H2.
El progreso es real; también lo son los obstáculos. A medida que los ecosistemas crecen y se consolidan en la región, los desafíos claros relacionados con el hidrógeno (bajo volumen de demanda, falta de incentivos, altos costos en toda la cadena de valor y el desarrollo de una cadena de suministro, entre otros) se ponen de relieve.
El 3er Congreso de Hidrógeno para América Latina y el Caribe abordará estos temas de frente, identificará oportunidades de inversión, mostrará historias de éxito y, en última instancia, unirá al mercado para acelerar el desarrollo de una industria de hidrógeno líder en el mundo en América Latina y el Caribe.

The 3rd annual Hydrogen Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (H2LAC 2023)—the region’s preeminent hydrogen conference—is landing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this June 13-15.
In 2022, we ran H2LAC in-person for the first time. The response was overwhelming. 250+ public and private sector leaders from 25 countries joined us in Cartagena, Colombia for what was by far the largest gathering of the regional hydrogen market that year.
Since then, we have seen indisputable progress across Latin America and the Caribbean. We have seen, in some countries, groundbreaking policy to stimulate the growth of the hydrogen ecosystem and, in yet other instances, the design, financing and execution of H2 projects.
Progress is real; so are the hurdles. As ecosystems grow and consolidate in the region, the clear challenges related to hydrogen—low volume of demand, lack of incentives, high costs across the value chain and the development of a supply chain, among others—will be thrown into sharp relief.
The 3rd Hydrogen Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean will address these issues head on, pinpoint investor opportunities, showcase success stories and - ultimately - bring the market together to accelerate the development of a world-leading hydrogen industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
