Timothy is an international advisor on energy matters for the Office of American Affairs, in the Office of the International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Prior to this role, he was an advisor to the European and Eurasian Affairs Office.

Timothy’s current portfolio covers Mexico and Central America. He also serves as the regional clean hydrogen expert.

He is the lead coordinator for the U.S. Department of Energy for the 2022 and 2023 Hydrogen Americas Summit.

Timothy has a bachelor’s degree in applied economics, and political science, from Buffalo State College – State University of New York. He has a master’s degree in security policy studies from George Washington University. He is also a member of the United States Army Reserve and has served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Horn of Africa with a focus on development work.
