Noelia Medina was born in Montevideo on December 24th, 1986. She is an Economist with a Diploma in Finance from the University of Montevideo. She has an Executive MBA and specific training in Energy Economics and Sustainable Finance. She has 11 years of experience in the energy sector, having developed activities related to hydrocarbons with a focus on tariff, regulatory and market aspects for different organizations and institutions; among them ANCAP (National Oil Company), URSEA (Energy Regulator) and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining. She is a World Energy Council (WEC) National Future Energy Leader. Currently works as an advisor at the National Secretary of Energy of Uruguay and she is also a member of the inter-institutional group for the development of Green Hydrogen in the country by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining. She has published and also exhibited at seminars and workshops on topics related to energy transitions, regulation and the green economy.
