Yunyeong Yang is a Climate Investment Specialist at the Division of the Private Sector Facility at the Green Climate Fund. Her expertise lies in private sector investment across Energy, Industry, Transport, and other hard-to-abate sectors. Since joining the Fund in 2014, she has held various roles. Prior to her current position, she led sovereign transactions in the Energy and Transport sectors, as well as contributed to the Fund’s sector strategy development. Additionally, she played a key role in establishing technical assistance windows such as the Readiness Programme and Project Preparation Facility in the early years of the Fund. Yunyeong holds a Master’s degree in International Development with a concentration in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris.
