Latin American development banks sharpen their sustainability focus

Various development banks in Latin America are increasing their focus on financing linked to an environmental-friendly approach. Among the most exciting is Minas Gerais’ BDMG which will soon become Brazil’s first state-run bank to issue sustainability bonds in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals with support from the IDB.
