CREF 2026: The Caribbean Energy Community Meets in Panama
The 2026 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) landed in Panama City on October 14–16 - the first time in its history - for its 18th edition. Government officials, utilities, regulators, developers and investors joined us from across the Caribbean and beyond.
For nearly two decades, CREF has offered the region’s energy community a place to meet, exchange and move projects forward on the path to cleaner, more affordable, independent and resilient energy systems. CREF 2026 carried that forward, this time in a new city.
Financing, project delivery and resilience still sit at the center of the market. Those themes ran through the agenda, from unlocking investment to geothermal, energy storage, utility modernization, and so much more.
Thank you to everyone who made the journey to join us in Panama. Tell us what you’re seeing in the market and what would make CREF more useful to you and your team in the next edition.
