Director General
Rafael Echevarne is the Director General of Airports Council International – Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC).
Previously, Rafael served as CEO of Montego Bay Airport in Jamaica and held positions in international organizations and airport companies across Europe, Australasia, and the Middle East, specializing in airport economic regulation, privatization, infrastructure, and business development.
A Spanish national, Rafael holds a PhD in Air Transport Economics from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom and regularly lectures at universities around the world.
Rafael Echevarne es el Director General de Airports Council International – América Latina y el Caribe (ACILAC). Anteriormente fue CEO del Aeropuerto de Montego Bay, Jamaica, y ocupó cargos en organizaciones internacionales y compañías aeroportuarias en Europa, Australasia y Medio Oriente, especializándose en regulación económica de aeropuertos, privatización e infraestructura y desarrollo de negocios.
Rafael tiene un doctorado en economía y transporte aéreo por la Universidad de Cranfield, Reino Unido.
