Celebrating Excellence in Caribbean Clean Energy
The CREF Industry Awards celebrate leadership, innovation and impact across the Caribbean clean energy sector. Presented annually at CREF, the Awards recognize outstanding individuals, projects, programs and partnerships contributing to the region’s energy transition.
What We Recognize
The Awards recognize achievements across the Caribbean energy sector, from clean energy policy and innovative financing to project delivery, energy resilience and community impact. Categories are reviewed annually to reflect the region’s evolving priorities.
How Winners Are Selected
All submissions are evaluated by an independent jury of senior practitioners from across the Caribbean energy sector. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
- Innovation and technical excellence
- Impact on communities, customers, or investors
- Contribution to regional decarbonization and energy resilience
- Value creation for the public and private sector
Who Can Submit
Submissions are open to individuals, organizations, public sector entities, developers, multilateral institutions, consultants, and partnerships working to advance clean energy in the Caribbean.
You do not need to attend CREF to submit a nomination, and self-nominations are welcome.
Meet the 2026 CREF Industry Award Winners
The 2026 CREF Industry Awards were presented on October 15 at the 18th edition of CREF in Panama City. This year’s winners represent outstanding leadership, innovative projects, regional collaboration and progress toward cleaner, more resilient energy systems across the Caribbean.
