The CREF Industry Awards celebrate leadership, innovation, and impact across the Caribbean clean energy sector. Presented annually at the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), the Awards recognise standout individuals, projects, programs, and financing transactions that are accelerating the region’s energy transition.
What We Recognize
The 2026 Awards span the full clean energy value chain — from visionary leadership and enabling policy to innovative financing and outstanding project delivery. Categories are reviewed annually to reflect the region’s most pressing energy priorities.
How Winners Are Selected
All submissions are evaluated by an independent jury of senior practitioners from across the Caribbean energy sector. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
- Innovation and technical excellence
- Impact on communities, customers, or investors
- Contribution to regional decarbonization and energy resilience
- Value creation for the public and private sector
Who Can Submit
Submissions are open to individuals, organizations, public sector entities, developers, multilateral institutions, consultants, and partnerships working to advance clean energy in the Caribbean. You do not have to be a CREF attendee to nominate — and self-nominations are encouraged.
