    Barbados-based RF Merchant Bank & Trust Limited (RF) announced that it has completed a fund raise of BBD$14M in Green Energy bonds for Williams Renewable Energy Limited  — a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Caribbean Capital, an entity focused on alternative energy.   Source

  • Algae cleared from Caribbean beaches can power hotels

    Y.A. Maof, an Israeli company that works on environmental and waste disposal projects. After a trip in the Dominican Republic, the company found combining the algae found on the beach with organic waste in a biogas facility could enable energy generation. A pilot has been set up to evaluate the impact. Source

  • Enegix Energy to build $5.4 billion green hydrogen facility in Brazil

    Enegix Energy announces the world’s largest green hydrogen plant to be built in Ceará, Brazil, after signing MoU with the state government. Base One facility will produce more than 600 million kg of green hydrogen annually from 3.4GW of baseload renewable energy. Source
