  • Puerto Rico Regulator Asks Court to Pause PREPA RSA Hearings

    Puerto Rico’s Financial Oversight and Management Board (FOMB) announced that it’s filing a court motion to suspend all hearing and briefing deadlines for PREPA’s Restructuring Support Agreement.   • Haiti Suspends Payments to State-Run Energy Company

    Haitian Finance Minister Joseph Jouthe confirmed that the government has suspended US$7 million in monthly subsidies to Électricité d’Haïti (EDH). According to Jouthe, the state-run energy company should be able to secure loans. EDH is currently owed $230 million dollars, 60% of that from residential customers. Source
