AES Gener plans large green hydrogen-based ammonia plant in Chile

Latin American electricity producer AES Gener, a majority-owned unit of The AES Corporation will be studying the feasibility of building the first large green hydrogen-based ammonia plant in Chile. Colombia to hold 5 GW renewables auction in Q1 2021

The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, announced during the inauguration of a solar plant that the country’s second renewable energy auction has been scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
