Mexico City-based Cox Energy America SAB de CV on Wednesday announced its arrival in Europe via an agreement to acquire a 40% in Spanish solar PV specialist Ibox Energy for an estimated $95 million euros. The aspiring buyer is the Mexico-listed subsidiary of Spanish renewables firm Cox Energy Solar SA and invests in projects in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean.
