Kemar Polius is the Senior Director and Head of Corporate Banking and Sustainable Finance at CIBC Caribbean, where he leads the regional corporate banking franchise and advances sustainable finance initiatives across the Caribbean. A seasoned corporate banker with over 15 years of experience, he has held senior leadership roles in Barbados, The Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and Turks & Caicos Islands, with deep expertise in structured finance, risk management, and sustainable lending. Kemar is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MSc in Finance with Distinction from Warwick Business School and a BSc in Banking and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies.
