Ms. Cherri-Ann Farquharson is the Manager of the Sustainable Development Services Division at Environmental Solutions Ltd. (ESL), leading cross-sectoral strategy and delivery, grounded in the interconnected priorities of people, planet, and profit. She provides operational oversight for programmes, projects, and partnerships that advance the sustainability of businesses and communities across the region. Her professional journey has included telecommunications, academia, capacity building and institutional strengthening in support of the region’s energy transition.

Cherri-Ann holds a Master of Philosophy in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Physics from The University of the West Indies, Mona, with certifications in solar PV installation, wind energy, bioenergy, and energy management.

She actively contributes to professional networks including the Jamaica Society of Energy Engineers and the Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Network, through mentoring and knowledge-sharing, inspiring the next generation of energy and sustainability professionals.
