Kemar Polius is the Senior Director and Head of Corporate Banking & Sustainable Finance at CIBC Caribbean, where he leads the regional corporate banking franchise and advances sustainable finance initiatives across the Caribbean. A seasoned corporate banker with over 15 years of experience, he has held senior leadership roles in Barbados, The Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and Turks & Caicos Islands, with deep expertise in structured finance, risk management, and sustainable lending. Kemar is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MSc in Finance with Distinction from Warwick Business School and a BSc in Banking and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies.
