Shane Munroe is the Chief Executive Officer at MBJ Airports Limited (MBJ), the company that operates the Sangster International Airport under a 30-year concession from the Government of Jamaica.

Previously, he was Chief Technical Officer at MBJ with oversight for Airport Development Projects and has over 20 years of experience working in the Airport industry. Passionate about developing high-performing teams, driving innovation, business growth and delivering critical business results, Shane Munroe has been directly involved in the planning and execution of the Master Plan for Sangster International Airport to upgrade and modernise the airport.

Mr. Munroe holds a Master’s Degree in Aviation Management from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from the University of Bradford. He is accredited as an International Airport Professional (IAP) and holds certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) and a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE)
