Enegix Energy signed an MoU with Black & Veatch, a global engineering and construction firm, to complete a study to determine the practicality of the Base One green hydrogen plant in Ceará, Brazil. The government of the Brazilian state of Ceara signed MoUs with two firms to develop PV and produce hydrogen. Kroma Energia plans to develop 690 MW of PV in Ceara, and H2 Green Power Ltda seeks to produce green hydrogen at the Pecem industrial and port complex. Source: Renewables Now

AES and BRF sign agreement to construct the Cajuina wind complex in Brazil

AES signed an agreement with BRF, the Brazilian food giant, for a joint venture to construct a 160MW wind project in Brazil. The wind project, the Cajuina wind complex, located in Rio Grande do Norte, is scheduled to start operations in 2024. The complex will supply BRF with energy through a 15-year PPA. Barranquilla, Colombia signs MoU for construction of 350 MW offshore wind farm
