  • AES Gener plans large green hydrogen-based ammonia plant in Chile

    Latin American electricity producer AES Gener, a majority-owned unit of The AES Corporation will be studying the feasibility of building the first large green hydrogen-based ammonia plant in Chile.   • Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister opens NiQuan Energy’s GTL plant

    NiQuan Energy’s gas to liquids (GTL) plant at Pointe-à-Pierre has been opened by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley. The plant has a nameplate capacity of 2400 bbl/d and produces high performance, low emissions energy products, GTL paraffin diesel and GTL naphtha, from natural gas. Source
