    Lack of demand is the reason for Brazil’s Ministry of Mines and Energy canceling this years A-3 energy auction. The tender was supposed to contract new energy projects to start power supply on January 1, 2019. Two more auctions are scheduled for 2016 for hydropower, solar and wind power.
