  • Statkraft inaugurates 519 MW wind complex in Brazil

    Statkraft AS recently inaugurated the Ventos de Santa Eugenia wind complex in Brazil. The complex has a total capacity of 519 MW. Additionally, plans are in place to incorporate a 163 MW solar farm into the project, making it one of Brazil’s pioneering hybrid energy initiatives Source: Renewables Now 

  • Petrobras and SENAI-ER forge alliance to study green hydrogen with pilot plant

    Petrobras and SENAI-ER are teaming up to construct a pilot electrolysis plant in Brazil to study the green hydrogen value chain. With a three-year investment of around US$18 million, Petrobras aims to analyze the performance of microturbines and assess structural integrity using hydrogen and natural gas mixtures.   • Parana State to invest in 4.5 MW solar projects to power rural development

  • BRDE supports renewable energy projects in Brazil’s Parana State with a US$3.8 million credit line

    Brazil’s Regional Bank for the Development of the Far South, or BRDE has approved a US$3.8 million credit line to bolster renewable energy initiatives in the Cornelio Procopio municipality, Parana state.
