  • Algae cleared from Caribbean beaches can power hotels

After a trip in the Dominican Republic, the company found combining the algae found on the beach with organic waste in a biogas facility could enable energy generation.   • Over $1.2 million announced for restoration of coral reefs in U.S. and Caribbean waters

    The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF)  announced $1.2 million in grants to support community-based efforts to improve the health and resilience of coral reefs in Florida, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and the Caribbean.
