A Co-Host of GEOLAC since 2014, the World Bank has confirmed that it will return as a headline sponsor of GEOLAC in 2018, underscoring its long-term commitment to the development of geothermal across Latin America and the Caribbean. A senior World Bank team at GEOLAC, led by regional energy head Antonio Barbalho, will present the key findings of its “Scaling Up Geothermal” Report and will provide critical updates on projects and markets in the region in which the Bank is providing support.
