Five leaders from across the geothermal value chain will help shape the program for the 13th Geothermal Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean (GEOLAC), taking place February 3-4, 2027 in Costa Rica.
The 2027 Advisory Board includes Christiaan Gischler of the Inter-American Development Bank, Annette Otero of Baker Hughes, César Augusto Patiño Suárez of the IEA EOR Technology Collaboration Programme, Michelle Ramírez Bueno of AGM Pro and Marck Vargas Kolesnikov of Dewhurst Group. Together they cover development finance, energy technology, climate finance and policy, and geothermal market development.
Board members advise the GEOLAC team on speaker selection, content themes and emerging trends, drawing on their day-to-day work across the region.
