  • Acciona Energía launches 162.6 MWp Cotoperí Solar Complex in La Romana, Dominican Republic

    July 31, 2025

    Acciona Energía has launched the 162.6-MWp Cotoperí Solar complex in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The facility, consisting of three solar farms, will generate 286 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power around 166,000 households. It is now the largest photovoltaic installation in Central America and the Caribbean. Source: Renewables Now
