New Energy Events is pleased to announce that Polaris Energy Nicaragua, S.A. Situated in Leon approximately 90 minutes from the conference venue, the visit will provide unique insight into the construction and operation of the plant. PENSA has been delivering power to the national grid since 2005 when the company built and commissioned two 5MW backpressure units. In 2012, the company completed a US$400M construction project to increase the plant’s installed capacity to 77MW, as well as several drilling projects to increase the field’s production and injection capacity. At the end of 2014, PENSA delivered approximately 10% of the country’s energy demand.
