CFE’s 2026–2030 development program outlines MXN 651 billion (US$32.9 billion) of investment in generation, transmission and distribution. The plan includes 18.6 GW of new generation capacity, including 5.48 GW of identified solar projects, 3.13 GW of wind and 582 MW of geothermal capacity, with most new renewable projects expected to involve private-sector participation.
