Israel seeking relationship with the Bahamas focusing on renewable energy

Bahamas officials recently hosted a delegation from Israel, and engaged in discussions on renewable energy investment and development.

The team of Israeli delegates travelled to the Bahamas to host a seminar on renewable energy.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for the Embassy of Israel to Belize and the Bahamas, Alon Lavi, emphasised the business opportunities and potential for bilateral agreements between the two countries.

“Israel does have a lot to offer in the area of renewable energy because we are coming from a region lacking of oil and lacking of natural resources, and the creativity and innovation is a must for us. So, we’d like to share our experiences and knowledge with interested Bahamians so they too can develop a renewable energy sector here as well,” Mr. Lavi said.
