Leading government stakeholders from Latin America and the Caribbean participated in an industry leaders roundtable event hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) at the 8th Geothermal Conference for Latin American and the Caribbean. Each stakeholder provided an update on the status of geothermal in their country, with a particular emphasis on the socio-economic and environmental considerations and implications of geothermal energy for the region. All participants at GEOLAC 2021 were invited to observe the roundtable event.
