In the wake of the recent announcement of a 40 MW RFP for geothermal, the organizers of GEOLAC are pleased to announce that Guatemala will be substantially represented at GEOLAC in Mexico. Confirmed to speak at GEOLAC 2017 are Carlos F Rodas, Head of Planning and Regulation at Empresa Electrica de Guatemala, Silvia Alvarado de Córdoba, Director of the Comisión Nacional de Energía Eléctrica, and Carlos Colom, Energy Division Director at Grupo IDC.
