GIZ, IRENA and SICA have announced a joint initiative to host a workshop at GEOLAC for Central American stakeholders. The workshop will showcase how geothermal energy can be decisive for ensuring resilience, independence, competitiveness, and security. In addition, it will foster a regional dialogue on geothermal for power generation and direct uses. Participants will also seek to articulate challenges and possible solutions for the expansion of geothermal energy use in Central America.
