The European Investment Bank (EIB) is backing the Renewstable Barbados (RSB) project, which integrates solar power with green hydrogen storage to reduce the island’s reliance on imported fossil fuels by 50%. Developed by HDF and Rubis SCA, the project will establish Barbados’ first green hydrogen storage project and is supported by IFC, IDB Invest, and the Green Climate Fund.
