With limited news over the past few months, the developer of the geothermal project on Nevis in the Caribbean has now announced that it was able to clear the site for the drilling rig a mere four days prior to the arrival of Hurricane Irma.
With the completion of the preparation, the Nevis Geothermal project has reached a milestone for the project that is slated to become the first Binary ORC Geothermal power plant on the Caribbean Islands.
The drilling rig to start drilling is scheduled to arrive on the island on October 4, 2017 with drilling to commence thereafter.
