Stephen Wedderburn is a senior energy and public policy specialist with over 25 years of experience in petroleum refining and trading, LNG supply strategy, renewable energy development, electricity planning and public-private partnerships across the Caribbean. He currently serves as a Senior Policy & Project Management Consultant for the Delegation of the European Union to Jamaica. His career includes leadership as Interim Managing Director of Petrojam Refinery, Group Technical Director at the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (where he led early national LNG feasibility studies), Executive Director of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, and Senior Business Development Manager at TotalEnergies. An alumnus of MIT (B.S. Civil Engineering) and Duke University (M.A. Public Policy), Mr. Wedderburn specializes in energy security, project finance, grid flexibility, and structuring bankable frameworks for the regional energy transition.
