Born on November 3, 1978, the Honourable Keithson “Kiffo” Charles is a proud “son of the soil” from Martin, Choiseul, a small community in the southwest of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. Raised in a strong extended family, he developed a deep sense of community, service, and resilience from an early age. He attended Mongouge Combined School, Choiseul Secondary School, and Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.

Before entering public office, Minister Charles built a distinguished 25-year career at Saint Lucia Electricity Services (LUCELEC), rising from electrician to award-winning Customer Care Supervisor. He is also widely known as DJ “Prince Charles,” using music as a platform to support community and charitable initiatives.

A devoted Catholic, husband, and father of four, he embraces a philosophy of “Neighbour, not a Politician,” grounded in servant leadership and action. Elected on December 1, 2025, he now serves as Parliamentary Representative for Choiseul-Saltibus and Minister for Physical Development and Public Utilities.
