Kyle Farnum is Programme Manager for Energy at the Delegation of the European Union to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean States and the OECS, covering relations with the EU’s Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories, where he supports the implementation of the EU’s Green Deal Partnership with the Caribbean and Global Gateway priorities in the energy sector.

His work focuses on advancing the Caribbean’s clean energy transition through regional cooperation, renewable energy investment and the development of innovative energy solutions. His portfolio includes engagement on geothermal energy, regional electricity integration and interconnection, grid resilience, and emerging renewable energy technologies, including marine energy.

He works closely with Caribbean governments, regional institutions, development partners and the private sector to identify and advance opportunities that strengthen energy security, resilience and sustainable investment across the region.
