Tanya Williams comes with 16 years of experience in the electricity utility sector and is currently a Key Account Manager with the Jamaica Public Service Company.
She has a strong background in helping JPS key clients find solutions geared towards reducing inefficiencies in their commercial operations and finding solutions geared towards sustainability.
She has also worked closely with the Business Development Division towards identifying non-tariff opportunities such as Solar and Distributive Generation solutions.

She is passionate about the energy transition and JPS’ role in this as the energy partner aiming to power what matters. Tanya holds a Masters in Oil and Gas Operations and Energy Management with a focus in Sustainable Energy from the University of East London(UK). She also holds a first degree from UWI in Linguistics and Political Science which is far removed from the dynamics of the energy sector but is helpful when negotiating new opportunities or for collaborative initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
