Pablo Guerrero serves as Group Head for the Caribbean Countries at the Transport Division and Lead Transport Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he spearheads the coordination of the Bank’s transport portfolio across Caribbean nations. With a career spanning over 22 years, Pablo brings deep expertise in transport infrastructure, freight logistics, public policy, and urban development.
His leadership has shaped investment and technical assistance operations in a wide array of countries—including The Bahamas, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Suriname, as well as across Latin America from Bolivia to Mexico—at national, provincial, and municipal levels. Pablo has led the design and execution of both financial and non-financial projects covering logistics and freight transport, airport and road infrastructure, rail systems, urban mobility, and sustainable transport policy.
Prior to joining the IDB, Pablo held roles at the World Bank and in private consulting, where he specialized in transport infrastructure and public works. His strategic vision and hands-on experience continue to drive innovation and resilience in the region’s transport systems.
