A financial executive with over two decades of experience in the financial and utility industries, Neysa has built a distinguished career on the pillars of strategic foresight, operational excellence, and a passion for sustainable energy and water solutions. Born and raised in Curaçao, her fascination with numbers and problem-solving emerged early on. She pursued her academic endeavors with zeal, becoming a Chartered Accountant (Registeraccountant), and earning a Master of Science in Accounting & Control as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics.
Neysa’s journey in the utility sector began 11 years ago, where she quickly proved her mettle by tackling complex financial challenges with precision and innovation. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in ensuring the financial viability and operational resilience of both energy and water utilities. Her leadership extends across the full spectrum of utility operations, including the modernization and optimization of water production and distribution systems. Through her efforts, critical infrastructure has been upgraded, water loss has been reduced, and sustainable water management practices have been embedded into the company’s core operations.
She has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at integrating renewable energy sources and smart water technologies into utility operations while maintaining cost control and service reliability. As the interim CEO, Neysa leads the organization with a clear strategic vision, guiding it through technical complexities, economic fluctuations, and regulatory transformations. Her leadership has been instrumental in balancing affordability, sustainability, and reliability for both electricity and water services.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Neysa is deeply involved in community initiatives, leveraging her expertise to drive positive change and empower local development. With her deep expertise, unwavering dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Neysa stands as a transformative leader in the utility industry, leaving an indelible mark on the evolving landscape of finance, water and energy management, and sustainable innovation.
