Jan Fomferra is the Chief Financial Officer of Global Ports Holding (GPH), the world’s largest cruise port operator. Since his appointment as CFO in 2020, he has managed the financial strategy behind GPH’s global expansion, overseeing a portfolio that currently spans more than 30 ports across four continents.

With a career centered on structured finance and international M&A, Jan has led the raising of capital to fund long-term port concessions and modernization projects.

Prior to joining the group in 2012, Jan held corporate finance and investment banking roles at Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bahn, and Fresenius VAMED, where he focused on large-scale infrastructure and PPP projects. He holds an MSc from ESCP Europe and an Economics degree from the Technical University of Berlin.
