Asset Manager, Entropy Investment Management, buys largest utility-scale solar plant in Panama from Hanwha Q CELLS and partners

In one of the more interesting acquisitions in the region, Entropy Investment Management has acquired 100% of the largest utility-scale solar field in Panama.

Hanwha, along with local developer Renventure, EPC SEMI, ASEP, and others developed this project before the sale.

Hanwha Q CELLS USA President Moon Hwan Cha remarked: ‘Hanwha Q CELLS is proud to have brought solar energy development and financing capabilities to the Panama market and expand local clean renewable energy.’

Entropy makes a big splash in the region with this acquisition and becomes one of the largest owners of PV in the region, joining giants like SunEdison and Enel.
