New Energy Events is a leading provider of senior-level conferences and trainings that surface the deals, policies, and partnerships shaping Latin America and the Caribbean’s energy transition. Our events don’t just discuss what’s happening. They’re where it happens.

We’ve been doing this since 2009. Our team spans the US, Colombia, the Caribbean, Chile, and Brazil. We know these markets – not from reports, but from being in them, year in, year out, for over 15 years.

Our conferences bring together the people who actually make things happen: developers, financiers, regulators, utilities, and industrial leaders. In 2021, we launched H2LAC – the Hydrogen Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean – with the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. It is now the region’s leading hydrogen forum. We also produce CREF (the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum), GEOLAC (the Geothermal Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean), and CARIF (the Caribbean Infrastructure Forum).

Our trainings are case-study driven and outcome-oriented. We have trained governments and regulators across 25 countries on decarbonization, energy transformation and hydrogen market development.

We support our portfolio with on-the-ground news and market intelligence. Across markets where data is challenging to gather, we publish, with Hinicio, the annual H2LAC Index for Latin America & the Caribbean and, with Castalia, the annual Caribbean Renewable Energy Index & Marketplace.

We know the issues, the challenges, the players – and the opportunities. We run world-class events. We don’t cut corners. And we believe we can make a difference.
