Mexico conditionally approves 35 MW green hydrogen project

Mexico’s environment ministry has conditionally approved a green hydrogen project in Guanajuato with a 35 MW electrolyzer capacity. Developed by Delicias Solar, the project is expected to produce around 3,205 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually, supported by a 42 MW solar plant and battery storage, although construction remains subject to additional regulatory and social-impact requirements.
