Chile has granted environmental approval to HNH Energy’s US$11 billion green ammonia project in the Magallanes region, the largest investment ever approved through the country’s environmental assessment system. The project will integrate green hydrogen and ammonia production with wind generation, port and storage infrastructure, and a seawater desalination plant for export to international markets.
