The Bahamas sets timeline for LNG, grid upgrades and nearly 200 MW island energy pipeline

The Bahamas has set out a timetable for a major electricity-system overhaul, with its first LNG phase due online in 2026, gas-fired capacity scaling to 190 MW by late 2027, and 23 Family Island microgrid and solar projects representing close to 200 MW of new generation under development.
