ATOME has given notice to terminate its 145 MW power purchase agreement with Paraguay’s state-owned utility ANDE, effective at the end of 2026, after the parties failed to agree on a standstill arrangement. The move follows a treaty dispute over the withdrawal of long-term, fixed-price power guarantees. ATOME says it remains in discussions with the government and ANDE to secure a replacement PPA for its Villeta green fertilizer project.
