CARIF 2026 kicks off a day early this year with the official launch of the Caribbean Resilient Infrastructure Implementation and Skills Exchange (RIISE) Facility, a new regional mechanism designed to help Caribbean governments turn infrastructure plans into delivered projects.
Taking place on Monday, September 14, from 3:00–5:00 PM at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami, the RIISE launch event offers CARIF participants a warm start to the week: an opportunity to connect early with regional leaders, meet the RIISE team and gain a first look at the facility ahead of the two-day CARIF program.
Funded by the Government of Canada and hosted by UNOPS, RIISE is a demand-driven technical assistance facility supporting climate-resilient, sustainable and inclusive infrastructure delivery across the region.
Attendance is complimentary for registered CARIF participants. Advance registration is required, capacity is limited and participation will be confirmed separately.
