Petrobras approves US$1.2 billion renewable fuels project in Brazil

Petrobras has approved a US$1.2 billion investment to develop a renewable fuels plant at its Presidente Bernardes refinery in São Paulo state. The facility will have the capacity to produce up to 15,000 barrels per day of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel, with construction expected to begin this year and operations targeted for 2030.
