Colombia has released a draft National Low-Emission Hydrogen Policy outlining a roadmap to develop a hydrogen industry, reduce fossil fuel use, and decarbonize sectors like transport, steel, cement, and fertilizers. The policy sets production targets of 120,000 tons by 2030 and 1.8 million tons by 2050, aiming to replace fossil hydrogen in refineries and agribusiness while promoting investment and infrastructure in regions with high renewable potential.
