Venezuela is constructing the 52.8 MW El Vigía solar plant in Mérida’s Alberto Adriani municipality to power 14 water pumping systems serving 720 apartments and 2,290 families in the Bubuquí II housing complex. Built with local companies and technicians under a Venezuela-China energy cooperation agreement, the plant features 1,207 solar panels and locally manufactured components. The project is scheduled for completion this month.
