Chile’s Energy Efficiency Agency (AChEE) has launched a tender for the construction of six community solar parks of up to 300 kW each, as part of the national “Community Solar Park” program. The projects will be built on municipal land in Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas, Vicuña, San Antonio, Calle Larga, and Pudahuel, under shared ownership between local governments and residents. The initiative aims to expand access to clean energy across diverse regions of Chile while promoting community participation and local benefit-sharing.
